Beginning Wednesday, September 3, 2008, Stillwater Drive at Decathalon Parkway will be closed for street repairs.  Detours are in place.

This project is scheduled to be completed Thursday afternoon, September 4th.

Beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 7:00 a.m., Riverside Sand & Gravel began construction on Rimrock Road between Shiloh Road and 54th Street West.

Construction will begin with rotomilling, excavation and utility installation.

Traffic will be permitted through the construction zone using one-lane traffic and flag persons.  Expect delays of five to fifteen minutes.  The North Frontage Road is suggested as a detour around the construction zone.  Speed limits are reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.  Please watch for workers.

This project is scheduled to be completed in November 2008.

In conjunction with the ongoing work along King Avenue East between South Billings Blvd. and Orchard Lane, Knife River is currently working on South Billings Blvd. between King Avenue East and the east off ramp to I-90.  Work is being performed in the center or along the outside edge of the asphalt road.

Watch for workers and equipment and obey all traffic control signs.

Reconstruction of Milton Lane from Main Street to Lake Elmo Drive is underway.  School and local traffic are being allowed through at this time, with possible short delays.  Work will continue through October.

New storm drain lines are being installed on S. 32nd Street West.  There is currently a partial closure at the intersection of Gabel Road and S. 32nd Street West.  South of this intersection is also closed to through traffic from Gabel Road to Conrad Road.

Beginning August 1st, Sletten Construction Company and subcontractors will begin improving Monad Road and Moore Lane in the area where they come together, cross the railroad tracks and intersect with Laurel Road.  Construction will make it necessary to close individual traffic lanes at times.  Full closures will occur periodically, when necessary.

At this time, Monad Road is currently closed to all through traffic from Moore Lane to Planview Street.  This closure is scheduled to last another week or more.  Detours are in place.

Currently Central Avenue is closed around the 700 block due to EPA clean up.

Construction is underway on the Aronson extension project that will extend the avenue southward to meet Alkali Creek Road and add about 3000 feet of new roadway to Aronson.  Currently construction will not be affecting traffic except for a small portion of the roadway just past Camel Place on the north side of the jobsite.
